"Know Your Faith" Discussion Groups

posted Feb 13, 2010 8:06 PM by Saint Paul's Cathedral   [ updated Feb 28, 2010 5:57 PM ]

Pursuing our Baptismal Covenant commitment to life-long Christian Formation, we began "Know Your Faith" groups this past fall. To make them as convenient as possible to as many as possible, we currently have forty parishioners divided into four groups meeting on different days of the week at different times of the day.

This year we are studying "Those Episkopols" by Fr. Dennis R. Maynard. Often called the "Unofficial Handbook of the Episcopal Church, " this easy to read and very discussable book takes us "back to basics" while it both clarifies and affirms our Episcopal identity. Our groups meet once per month for 59 minutes. New groups can be formed on request... because you never outgrow your need to "Know Your Faith".
